Part of the paediatrician’s job involves monitoring for problems commonly seen in young people with spina bifida, as outlined elsewhere on this website. Given that any of these problems may affect a young person’s functioning, we will take a broad overview of most aspects of a young person’s life during clinic reviews.

Paediatricians work closely with the other members of the spina bifida team in coordinating care for young people attending our clinics or admitted under our care at CHI at Temple Street.
